As we headed out the door, he stopped to look at something behind him.  He thought I was still holding the door, but I thought he was still behind me.  So I let go of the door and then, it SLAMS on his face.  Boy was he mad.  All we could do was laugh.  My favorite hangouts during my freshman year was at BIGGS, a little store right across the street.  It  was where the senior parking lot is now.  Then my hangouts gradually started to spread throughout the  whole school.  I used to hang out with Elizabeth Corral, my sis Oralia Olivas, Celina Castillo, Naty Baraza, Jessica Monarez, Veronica Muqoz, Mubia Delgado, Maria Garcia, Evelyn Sanchez, Jorge Saldaqa, Juan Carlos Cervantes, Erik Estrada, Maria Ceballos, Luz Ceballos, Laura Gutierrez, Delores Noe Cabajal, Etc.  I would most like to see Vero Moreno (Muqoz), Elizabeth Cervantes, Carlos Cervantes, and Jorge Saldaqa again.  My favorite things to do at school was eat lunch and hang out with friends.  My favorite thing to do after school was go home.  I was in the Mariachi Band.  I was happy on the first day of elementary school but I went to Brighton.  I was very scared  on the first day of middle school.  I was nervous on the first day of high school but happy that I finally got out of middle school.  I liked the water balloon fights during lunch hour.  I liked the Sadie Hawkins assemblies because I loved watching a teacher or principal kiss the pig.  I smile when I remember all the fun I had in high school.   I feel sad when I remember my last day of school. My proudest moment was when I graduated. You didn't know that I have a temper.  It takes a while for me to get mad, but when I get angry, you don't want to get near me.  My message to my classmates is "I miss all you!".  My message to today's students is "Only be yourself, don't try to be a part of the group that you aren't really feeling.  If you don't like some of the stuff they do, just say no. Don't give into peer pressure.  If they are really your friends, then they will respect your decisions.  HAVE FUN!".  (6-2009)
