Wayne Newberry, Navy: 30 Years of service with U.S. Navy We retired from the Navy in 1975 and I was recalled from retirement for a special project in 1980. We re-retired from the Navy in March 1986 but remained in the Military Training Systems Training and Simulation industry as an engineering support contractor until complete retirement in 2001. I had 3 shipboard assignments (Destroyer, Cruiser and Aircraft Carrier), we lived on Guam and Oahu, had assignments in NJ, OK, FL, Washington DC, San Francisco, and San Diego. I was an electronics repair technician (Radar, Communications and Electronic Warfare Systems) and Instructor, Director of Training for the Electronic Warfare School and the Navy's first Computer Based Individualized Instruction School. Awards: Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Six Good Conduct Awards, Navy Unit Citation, Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Service, National Defense Navy Expeditionary Medal.

Ronald Parsons, Air Force: joined the Air Force as a Computer Officer for three years.
Russell Andrew Watson, Navy: He Served as an Ensign from 1958 to 1962 on the USS Norton Sound. He passed on 06/04/2011 from pneumonia. Russell Watson was very well known in Commerce City for his Christmas decorations he put up for many years.

Frederick Howard Castle, Navy: He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1981 as a Chief Petty Officer. He had assignments in the Philippines, Japan, Diego Garcia, Guam, California, Singapore, VA125, HC1, Viet Nam, Glynco GA, Lemoore CA, San Diego CA, Sangley Point, Thailand, and many other locations. He received many honors.
